Lane Deposit Policy
GlobalTranz Dedicated Lane Program (Revised)
1 Purpose
This Lane Deposit Policy ensures commitment, reliability, and smooth operations for all carriers participating in GlobalTranz dedicated lanes.
2 Lane Commitment Deposit (Mandatory)
- A $500 Lane Deposit is required to lock in and reserve a dedicated lane
- This deposit confirms that only serious and committed carriers secure lane assignments
3 Reason for Deposit
The deposit is required due to operational disruptions such as:
- Carriers delaying lane start after booking
- Last-minute cancellations
- Carriers leaving after partial completion
This policy protects lane stability and ensures consistent service.
4 Lane Service Terms
- Minimum commitment: 3 months (or full agreed round trips)
- Carrier must complete all assigned round trips without interruption
5 Payment Structure (Updated)
- The $500 deposit is NOT part of total lane revenue
- It is a separate commitment deposit only
- Upon successful completion:
- Carrier receives full agreed payments for loads as per contract
- GlobalTranz retains $150 (30% of $500) as a service/management fee
- $350 (70% of $500) is returned/credited to the carrier
6 Deposit Adjustment
The refundable portion ($350) will be:
- Added to the final load payment OR returned after completion
7 Non-Completion / Default
If the carrier does NOT complete all round trips:
- The full $500 deposit is forfeited (non-refundable)
8 Policy Enforcement
Non-compliance may result in:
- Lane cancellation
- Removal from program
- Loss of deposit
9 Acknowledgment
By locking in a lane, the carrier agrees to all terms in this policy.
Important Notice
$500 deposit is required to secure the lane.
$350 is returned after completion.
$150 is retained as GlobalTranz service fee.
Failure to complete = full deposit loss.
